Members of the Turkey-backed Free Syrian Army told local news agency today that jihadist factions have established an “economic committee” to organize looting and confiscation of private properties in the city of Tal Abyad, Northeast Syria.
TFSA jihadists were reported looting and confiscating private property in occupied cities and villages NE Syria.
“Shamiya Front and Majd Legion has established this committee to mark buildings and homes of SDF members to confiscate and to resell its belongings in auction”. Member of TFSA told a local news agency close to them.
Local activists issued a statement saying that “The archeological town, Tal Halaf is been transformed into Center for selling looted items. Civilians’ properties which were looted by the Turkish-backed Syrian National Army after the occupation of Ras Al-ain /Serê Kanîyê, North East Syria, Rojava.”
