Increasing numbers of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) reach Tuwayna camp

Tuwayna’s camp administration said that IDPs numbers reached 881 persons in their camp established for refugees from the occupied city of Sere Kaniye and its countryside.

An official from the camp’s administration told local Arta FM radio that they received about 200 families with a total of 881 displaced persons in the camp.

Tuwayna camp was established last week west to Hasaka city, without any international aid, setting up collective tents to protect families and children from harsh weather during winter.

The official told the local radio that they could set up today an individual tent for each family.
